The 1st ever gender balanced and racially equitable classical radio show is celebrating its 2nd birthday on 6th November.
It’s been a thrilling journey for me, voluntarily producing this show. I’ve learnt so much, discovered hundreds of amazing composers, made some very special lasting friendships, annoyed a lot of sexist and racist people, and of course, made a few mistakes along the way. The show’s changed and developed so much over the past 2 years, one thing I’m particularly proud of is that now every episode features 50% people of colour as well as 50% women and I’m excited to see what the future holds.
So let’s celebrate together. I’m giving you the audience and the rest of the world an exclusive glimpse into this groundbreaking show, the work championing female composers and racial equity, my experience as a tri-racial British woman in classical music and much more.
For £5 you get the opportunity to ask me anything (and get the answers of course) about the show and the various facets of the work – championing female composers, gender equality, racial equity, decolonising music, curating, research, favourite picks from the show, challenges and highlights, whatever you want to know.
On 6th November you will receive an exclusive link to the answer video of me answering all your questions.
